IM‑2 “Athena” Lunar Lander (Intuitive Machines / NASA CLPS Program)
Created optimized, game-ready models of the Nova‑C “Athena” lander and its mission payloads—including the PRIME-1 ice drill, Nokia LTE antenna array, and Lunar Outpost’s rover—translating complex CAD into low-poly, quad-based assets for use in cinematic and real-time sequences.
Designed and textured all elements using PBR workflows in Substance Painter with UDIMs, preserving intricate material detail for high-resolution renders and Unreal Engine 5 scenes.
Built a modular lunar landscape from satellite topography and NASA references, using sculpting and displacement techniques to match the mission’s landing site conditions and lighting.
Produced final renders in Marmoset Toolbag and sequenced real-time animations in UE5, ensuring visual clarity and performance for use in marketing, engineering reviews, and public outreach.
Worked closely with payload teams and engineers to accurately depict mechanical functions, deployment sequences, and environmental interactions on the lunar surface.
